Accettare il proprio corpo.- Accepting your own body.

" There are 3 billion woman who don't look like supermodels and only 8 who do".
" Celebrate your age. The only way to avoid wrinkles is to live in outer space or never smile again"

Always more and more company dealing with beauty and aesthetics are fighting against the top model or Barbie beauty model ,trying  to vehicular some very strong messages through buxom and wrinkled doll images, promoting a different model from the one we see everyday on magazine's cover or tv.
Between a human being and the society where he lives there's a subtle connection, a silent relationship conditioning generations of girls, teenagers and women.
Eating disorders, obsession for physical form, for flat stomach, the panic for wrinkles and cellulite affects everyage women, with a rush to surgery and diet ever growing.
It's an obsessive search for perfection, based on unattainable targets, leading us to wish to became perfect like plastic women.
The message to pass ,on the contrary, is to support our beauty and uniqueness.
The satisfaction to be as beautiful as we are, to accept and receive our imperfect body, to adapt to the natural changes over the years is a challenge and an aim to follow steadly.
From psychological researches over these subjects emerged that those who managed to "cultivate" themselves in a complete way are able to fit in their body easier than the ones who invested  in their own identity bound to a self idealized image and that can have some problems when physical landmarks giving measure to their value fall.
We can say the same for the women investing only in one identity, like the mother's one or the wife and partner's one : when the children grow up or the relationship should finish we find ourselves with a sense of emptyness and a lost of balance.
That's why it is important to " cultivate themselves" and manage to integrate the different roles, and disengage from an ideal of the perfect woman, the perfect wife, the perfect mother and ask ouserlves what are we really looking for or rather what are we avoiding.
Rediscover our own well being and beauty is a matter of positive attitude to life.
It starts here.
To be happy and feel good with what we have and what we are.
Loving ourselves we will be able to take care of our body as well in the proper way, with respect and value.
